The main project directions include environmental sustainability and decarbonisation, training, diversity and inclusion, research and development, cyber security, digitalisation, PNRR and Industry 4.0.

Project 01

Environmental sustainability

The group is moving towards Industry 4.0 by strengthening land-sea interconnection and modernising the fleet with advanced engines, new equipment and remote-control technologies.

Project 02

Training

The holding company collaborates with educational institutions and sector schools, supports the growth of future professionals and promotes training plans focused on organisational innovation and new technologies.

Project 03

Diversity and Inclusion

Human resource management is oriented towards preventing discrimination and enhancing cognitive diversity within teams. The site also mentions participation in the “Cromosoma 21” project.

Project 04

Research and Development

Among the listed projects is AIRONE JET 5.0, developed with Sapienza University of Rome, focused on energy efficiency and emission reduction, together with investments in nanotechnologies applied to materials.

Digitalisation

Digitalisation takes shape through tools such as the corporate Cruscotto, the AI-based onboard assistant on the Celestina vessel and the Volaviamare.Point project with digitalised infopoints and LED walls.

Project 06

Cyber Security

The partnership with Pointel Communication is described as a safeguard for corporate intranet security and critical activities, including ticketing, with a holistic approach to data protection.

Project 07

PNRR

The group participated in the call established by Ministerial Decree no. 290 of 21 September 2022 with modernisation projects for Giove Jet, Agostino Lauro Jet and Città di Amalfi, approved by Executive Decree no. 318 of 29 December 2022.

Industry 4.0

Investments to modernise the fleet and strengthen land-sea interconnection are part of the group’s path towards Industry 4.0.
